International Association of Culinary Professionals 2008 Conference, New Orleans, LA.

Chef Danhi will be moderating and presenting an educational seminar entitled “Southeast Asian Street Food: Rhythmic Sounds and Flavors”. Robert will be accompanied on this panel by Mai Pham of Lemon Grass Restaurant.

This session will showcase the people and foods that are woven into the fabric of Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore and Malaysia. Sights, sounds and flavors will be experienced through captivating photos, dynamic videos, a cooking demonstration and tastings that will show how traditional foods on the streets are a celebration of the culture of Southeast Asia.

Two days are spent in an intimate setting with 75 attendees and Chef Danhi and guest speakers will lead the group through in-depth produce centric training session, take several farm tours and have interactive tastings.

General Session: Top Chefs
- The session would be moderated by Chef Robert Danhi.
The judges on the Bravo stations hit television show is Tom Colicchio. Tom is a chef – he has won 5 James Beard Awards, medal for Outstanding Service, etc. The discussion would focus on their differing backgrounds, how they came to find food, the show, philosophies, etc.

Chef Demos: The Judges Cook
Chef Danhi will moderate these two chefs cooking on stage. The chefs will create recipes featuring sponsors products and prepare them. Samples would also be provided.
